Last night we went to Casely-Hayford's first ever runway show entitled 'Army of Me' for London Men's Fashion Week. Their collection combined English traditional tailoring with punk aesthetic and sports luxe to make a beautifully enticing array of designs. The looks throughout maintained a similar silhouette of elongated knits and shirts combined with sharply tailored suits and bomber jackets. Not forgetting the painterly nature of the print work seen throughout. The punk soundtrack was the perfect accompaniment, with raw, thrashing guitars and vocals. Despite the rough and ready feel of models' demeanour, the whole performance was slickly orchestrated leaving the crowd in awe. Overall, a masterful collection.
